Four Courses · One Journey

through the Veil

The Making of an Intercessor

The journey to access granted

When Jesus surrendered on the cross, the veil tore, and what was once closed was opened. The Through the Veil Series walks you through four interactive devotional courses that deal with suffering, desire, shame, and identity, so you can come before the Father with nothing between you. This is the curriculum behind Access Granted: An Intercessor's Handbook.

“By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil.”Hebrews 10:20

For the woman being formed

Pressed. Hidden. Hungry. Being made into an intercessor.

Through the Veil is for women of every background who are ready to go deeper. Over four courses, you'll be formed into an intercessor who prays from identity, authority, and intimacy, with sisters walking beside you.

A woman prays with her eyes closed beside an open Bible
Formed in prayer
A young woman prays deeply during a church service
Surrendered
A woman reads her Bible closely indoors
Rooted in the Word
A woman stands in prayer holding her Bible in church
Made ready
Four friends laugh together outdoors
Sisterhood
A diverse group of people worship with raised hands
Praying together

The Curriculum Came First

I taught it. Then I wrote it.

The Through the Veil Series began as character-formation training for intercessors. Before I ever wrote a chapter of Access Granted, I taught these four workbooks to the women in my classes and watched God form intercessors out of their suffering, their surrender, and their healing.

When it was time to write the book, I took each course and put it on paper. Part I of Access Granted, “The Making of an Intercessor,” is these four courses in book form. The courses are where you live it out, with live teaching, prophetic ministry, and women walking beside you.

An intercessor isn't made in a prayer line. She's formed in the places where the masks come off.

The Four Courses

One veil. Four layers removed.

Take them in order as a full track, or start with the one God is highlighting for you. Each course follows the same pattern: clear objectives, Scripture study, live prophetic ministry activations, and freedom ministry.

We Must Go Through It cover

We Must Go Through It

Finding Purpose in the Pain · Matthew 27 · Luke 22 · John 19

Many of us love the reigning side of our faith but carry an unrealistic view of the suffering side. Walk with Jesus through His suffering and build a healthy, biblical perspective on your own.

  • Identify and analyze scriptural connections about suffering
  • Self-reflect and develop a biblical perspective on suffering
  • Process your suffering and ask Holy Spirit how He wants to use it for His good
In the book: Ch. 1, Suffering: The Silent Instructor and Ch. 4, Surrendered: The Intercessor in Process

  • Begin to develop or cultivate a personal, close relationship with Him

The Companion Book

Access Granted: An Intercessor's Handbook

When the veil was torn, access was granted. Hebrews 10:19–20 invites us to enter the Most Holy Place by the new and living way opened for us through the veil.

Through the Veil names the journey. Access Granted names what’s waiting on the other side.

The book was written from the Through the Veil curriculum. Read it to see the whole journey, take the courses to walk it out in community, or do both: the book goes deeper into the testimony and revelation behind every lesson.

In Their Words

What God has done

From women who have walked through Destiny Chasers courses and books.

I came to this course expecting radical transformation and I was not disappointed. I learned how to identify the pain and the root cause. Once I identified the root, I was able to apply the tools I learned to heal.

Girlfriend, get you this experience too! It was exactly what I needed. As Christians, we can settle into routine and become habitual in our walk. We are not necessarily sinning; we are simply stuck. This course invites you to surrender fully to God in a way that brings freedom, peace, love, and understanding. Trust the process and keep going. I did, and God showed me ME. I love this version of me.

It gave me hope, I cried. I prayed not just for myself but for others as well and it felt good being able to share with other sisters, such as myself. I learned that what we go through in life we are not alone.

This is such a great dive into the world of what is reality for most intercessors. It’s a good depiction of how most intercessors are birthed from their own trials that they navigated, and overcame by the Grace of God! Kia does a phenomenal job at telling parts of her story in a way that makes you feel like you’re right there walking through it with her. 10/10 read!

Your book got me in tears, goosebumps, and ready to fall out in my office and I’m only on chapter 2!

Kingdom Foundations was such a beautiful, intentional experience! Kia created an environment rooted in Scripture that invited us to go beyond knowing about the Kingdom to examining how we actually live as citizens of it. The teaching, reflection and assignments challenged me, encouraged me and created space for deeply personal encounters with the Lord. There were moments when I felt so intimately seen by God. I’m grateful for Kia’s obedience and willingness to be a vessel through which the Lord could minister to His children. I would absolutely encourage anyone desiring to grow in their understanding of Kingdom living and deepen their relationship with Jesus Christ to experience Kingdom Foundations. To God be ALL the glory!

Taking Kingdom Foundations with Dr. Kia was truly such a blessing and honestly so much more than I expected. This wasn’t just another course where you sit, take notes, and move on with your life. It was four weeks of being taught, stretched, challenged, poured into, and given the opportunity to actually apply what we were learning.

What I appreciated most was how biblically grounded everything was. We went deeper into hearing the voice of God, prayer and intercession, our identity in Christ, spiritual warfare, leadership, spiritual gifts, healing and deliverance, and what it truly looks like to serve and lead from a place of humility. But it wasn’t just teaching—there were practical activations, assignments, reflection, prayer, and moments where you really had to allow the Holy Spirit to deal with YOU.

There were teachings that caused me to examine beliefs, patterns, reactions, and areas of my own heart that I honestly may not have recognized otherwise. There were also moments that stretched me spiritually—learning to hear God more clearly, intercede differently, encourage others prophetically, and become more confident in what God has placed inside of me.

And Dr. Kia has such a beautiful way of teaching and pouring into people. She carries wisdom and discernment, but she also creates an environment where you feel safe enough to learn, ask questions, be challenged, heal, and grow. You can tell that her heart is genuinely to see women become whole, rooted in Christ, and equipped to walk confidently in whatever God has called them to—whether that is ministry, business, leadership, serving, or simply becoming the woman God is calling them to be.

I came into Kingdom Foundations already loving God and already serving, but I still walked away with a deeper understanding of Him, of myself, and of what it means to steward what He has entrusted to me.

If you know God is calling you deeper, if you know there is more in you, or if you simply want a stronger biblical and spiritual foundation for where He is taking you, I would absolutely recommend Kingdom Foundations. Come ready to learn, but also come ready to be stretched, challenged, activated, and transformed.

I am genuinely grateful that God allowed me to experience this course and so grateful for Dr. Kia’s obedience in creating a space to equip His daughters for Kingdom work. 🤍

Through Kingdom Foundations Training, God did more than teach me; He drew me closer to Him. As I continued learning, He spoke to my heart, brought healing to different areas of my life, and strengthened my faith. One of the greatest things I gained from this experience was becoming more sensitive to His voice and learning to recognize when He was speaking to me. I am grateful for all that God has done in me throughout this program, and I look forward to continuing to grow in my relationship with Him and build upon the foundation He has established in my life.

Completing the Kingdom Foundations class was a powerful and life-changing experience. It gave me the spiritual encouragement and practical direction I needed to stop doubting what God placed inside of me and begin moving forward with confidence. I walked into the class carrying dreams, questions, and responsibilities, but I completed it with greater clarity, stronger faith, and a renewed commitment to pursue purpose with God at the center. This class reminded me that when God gives you a vision, He will also provide the grace, wisdom, and strength to carry it out. I am leaving this experience encouraged, empowered, and ready to walk boldly into everything God has called me to do.
